Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and ambitious Interior Designer to join the dynamic CTX Design Group Interior Design team.
The position requires working closely with the team while coordinating and managing all facets of interior design projects. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Strong organizational skills are a must. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting to changing client needs and internal priorities.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Undergraduate Degree
-
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Excel.

5+ years experience preferred
-
Create and maintain spreadsheet schedules to manage all aspects of projects
-
Drafting experience required
-
Engage creative thinking to create finish boards and graphic presentations for clients
-
Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to multi-task.

Maintain a big-picture perspective and be able to see the forest for the trees at all times
-
The speed of lightning and precision of a Swiss clock
-
Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other designers, consultants, contractors, and clients

Experience working under tight deadlines

Ability to take critiques with a positive attitude

Excellent written and verbal skills

Design and Project Manager Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design and Project Manager Assistant.
This position requires working closely with lead designers to support all aspects of building projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to balance teamwork and independent responsibility. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves direct interaction with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Attend site meetings and confirm site measurements
-
Oversee product installations and coordinate with contractors
-
Assist with site deliveries and maintain detailed logs of orders received
-
Draft revisions to drawings and details to assist with installations
-
Maintain clear and timely communications with clients and team members
-
Support lead designers in managing projects to successful completion
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
2 years of experience in a project management or construction industry role (preferred)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) required
-
Knowledge of CAD and SketchUp is an asset; a strong willingness to take a course to learn will also be viewed favorably

Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-
Must have own transport and a valid car license
